Gabriella’s music is appreciated by anyone inspired by the Divine in life and seeking connection to their Higher Power. She writes and sings in a folk country blend. Gabriella has produced 7 CDs, her most recent being “Love’s Dream” with Andrew Marlin, a young and talented singer and instrumentalist from the group Mandolin Orange. Gabriella’s earlier recordings were with the wonderful singer-composer Mark Malachi.
Gabriella writes from her life experience which has been colored by tragedy as well as beauty. She was hit by a car in 1995 and has been wheelchair-bound since. “Music is a way to soar,” she says. “I discovered that early-on. Nothing can bind the spirit when I sing.” Not only a musician, Gabriella is a writer of both prose and poetry. Her most current project is a book about care-giving and care-receiving and the potential for that to be a sacred relationship.
Gabriella has worked herself with many people in a care-giving role. For many years, she has done Polarity and Hakomi Therapy with clients. Find more out about Polarity and Hakomi Therapy.
Her songs are optimistic and joyous. She draws great inspiration from her musical as well as her poetic influences. “In every family festivity we sing Cris Williamson’s ‘Waterfall’”. Some of her recordings put music to the poetry of Rumi (“I Won’t Hold Back Life”) and Bhau Kalchuri (“Happiness is Better”). Her current effort (“Love’s Dream”) features all original material.
Gabriella lives in Chapel Hill with her 2 beautiful cats, Niru and Piru, doing her best to live a life of remembrance to her spiritual Master, Avatar Meher Baba.

Meher Baba is known to many as the”Avatar of the Age”. He was born as Merwan Irani in 1894 in Pune, India and died in 1969. He began a relationship with his first of five spiritual teachers (masters) at the age of 18. This first master was a woman named Hazrat Babajan who lived to be 120 years of age. Through the help ofhis masters, Merwan became “unveiled” as to his true purpose and began to draw around him, his disciples or inner circle of “Mandali”.
